Take off your shoes, and leave them at the front or in a cubbie
Help reduce distractions and silence or turn your phone off. Your practice is a time to put aside technology, come back in tune with your body, and focus your mind.

If you come into a pose that is painful, back off gently. Let's find a modification that works for your body. We are only guiding your practice, this is your journey. Please, let the instructor know about any on-going injuries to help with modifications.
Be respectful of all props. Many classes use blocks, blankets, straps or bolsters. Your instructor will advise which props to pull out for the beginning of class. At the end of class please place props back neatly and organized.
Minimize conversation during class. We have a great community at JBY, lots of friends and conversation to catch up on! We love and appreciate your friendships but please keep it to before or after class.
