Christina Geruso
Christina began her journey with yoga in 2001 doing power yoga. While overcoming  injuries she also came to appreciate gentle and restorative styles and started a regular practice. Christina has a passion for helping people with everyday aches and pains reach a better place within their bodies and heal themselves through yoga. Christina joined Shri in the Path of Service Yoga Teacher Training Program in 2014 and received her 200-level (RYT 200) through the Yoga Alliance. Christina worked in outreach programs with Shri for one year before opening Joyful Bliss and continues to be a partner with them  and teach weekly classes for educators, Bradley Hospital, Life Inc and children's shelter. Christina believes yoga should be accessible to everyone and loves to see yoga newbies walk into her studio. She is dedicated to making Joyful Bliss a place of community, unity and acceptance.
Charlene Breggia
B.A, RYT 200 Registered Yoga Teacher, has been practicing yoga for over 25 years and has been teaching for seven. Teaching in traditional Hatha Yoga style and leading stress-release workshops about yoga, meditation and the body/mind connection.
Lori Goddard
Embracing multiple traditions of yoga, Lori is a certified E-RYT-500 teacher, completing her most recent training with Daniel Orlanksy’s Yoga of Energy Flow.  She finds joy in opening yoga to practitioners of any age, encouraging curiosity about all elements of the practice including breath work, meditation and physical poses. Lori has had the privilege of studying with Josh Summers, Kate Greer,Doug Keller, Jennifer Reis, and so many others.  She’s studied Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha, Yoga Nidra and various practices that work to open energy channels within the body.  Lori also works with Shri outreach programs with senior and hospital projects. 
 
Shannon Menihan
Shannon's yoga journey started about ten years ago when she went to a free class at a local studio to try something new.  Although it wasn’t love at first class, she kept going.  She was intrigued by the physical aspect of the practice, and fascinated by her teacher’s patience, grace and utter happiness.  She thought: "Why were these people so calm and happy?  And, more importantly, why wasn’t I?"  That’s what kept her going back - the desire for a better, more peaceful way to live.  Yoga has taught Shannon not only body awareness and alignment, but how to go inward and to reconnect with her true self, both on and off the mat.  In this busy world, we don't often get the chance to slow down, notice and feel.  There's so much to be gained in those quiet moments, and they are what help us learn, grow and heal.  In 2012, Shannon completed her 200-hour Vinyasa Teacher Training with Rolf Gates.  Since then, she continues to grow her practice and further her education, including completing a 35-hour Forrest Yoga Continuing Education Training and a Yin Yoga training.  In 2019, she joined Shri Service Corps as their Director of Development.  She is helping Shri grow with new and sustainable models now that the demand for yoga outreach in under-served populations has reached a record high. 
Kim Bernardo 
200-Hour Certified, teaches a strong Vinyasa flow that’s challenging at times, and a Gentle yoga flow that is breath centered and concentrated on alignment. Kim’s classes are always a judgement free space, and a place for her students to learn and explore new areas. She deepens her practice by maintaining a personal practice and taking extra workshops focused on alignment, anatomy and teaching.
Karen Matte
Karen's passion for yoga began in 1998, when she fell in love with the connection of mind, body and spirit. Karen's mission is to help others create their own spiritual experience through the practice of yoga and meditation. Yoga is a safe space to be yourself, to show up just as you are without judgement. You will meet you where you are. 
Karen is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. She has studied Iyengar, Kundalini, and Hatha disciplines of yoga. She is also certified mat Pilates teacher certified in meditation for stress reduction and a Reiki Master. 
Karen enjoys teaching an energetic class while emphasizing breath awareness and alignment. Her class will challenge your physical body and uplift your spirit. You will leave feeling empowered and relaxed. 
Bonita Guerrero is a lover of all things metaphysical. In her early 20's she began her quest of inquiry about life, the universe and self. As a result, she is now a 500Hr RYT yoga instructor in the traditions of Bhakti, Forrest, and Baptiste Power yoga. Along with her love to teach yoga, she also loves the healing arts. She is a Karuna Reiki Master Teacher, Reconnective Healing Practitioner, Advanced Integrative Energy Healer and an AdvancedThetaHealer®.  She loves to heal with the vibration of sound, movement, and the spoken word by teaching from the ancient yogic texts. Her yoga classes are a balanced mixture of pranayama, meditation, asana, and self-reflection.

Laurie Sands

I was brought to yoga at a very low time in my life.  It quickly became my safe place, where I could get lost on my mat and do something completely for myself.  Yoga became my therapy, both physical and mental.  It wasn’t until attending a yoga retreat at a Buddhist Monastery in Colorado that I became aware that the practice of yoga is more than the asanas or postures.   I knew all along but could never put my finger on what it was that kept me coming to my mat. 

Having suffered for years with arthritis, I found that my style of yoga is the more gentle, restorative type.  I want to help others who suffer from pain and anxiety find their comfortable, accepting place on their mat.   I can’t wait to meet you all.  Namaste
